The Honda Activa 7G is set to enhance two-wheeler mobility in India while maintaining the legacy of the nation’s best-selling scooter. A Fresh Design With Timeless Appeal
The Activa 7G is likely to preserve the notoriety and trademark shape associated with the Activa series. Body panels and the front cowl with its LED headlamps have been modernised and will incorporate further updates. The scooter further features a chrome accent and sharper design and is aesthetically enhanced for use in heavy traffic of cosmopolitan areas. The Activa 7G ergonomic design ensures that the rider and the pillion will be provided comfort. The scooter has also been designed to provide room for a large and spacious floorboard and also designed to provide a wide range of seat height suiting a diverse range of users.
Power-Packed Performance
The 110 cc engine of the new Activa 7G has been improved to be smoother for city driving. It churns out 7.6 bhp alongside 8.8 Nm of torque. It is a single cylinder, air-cooled engine, and gives a good amount of torque. Mate to the engine is an automatic transmission, providing good handlebars and rider relations. Given the growing prices of petrol, the engine proves to be a very good engine with low to no maintenance consumption, 55 to 60 km per litre of petrol, a rider’s optim.
Cutting-Edge Features
Rider’s safety and habits are boosted with Bluetooth and a DC port to charge within the scooter. Now riders can stay tuned in and receive notifications of calls and SMS whilst driving. Under the protection of the scooter and the bays of the DC ports, the weight of items of riders can add to about 22 litres which is very good. When the scooter is used with things such as near weightlessness performances and automatic starting as well, no key is needed for Pass Paradise, and once the vehicle is in action it not saying a word makes the safety appeal very much.
Enhanced Safety And Comfort
With the Activa 7G, safety is prioritised, especially with the advanced braking system. The Combined Braking System (CBS) offers balanced and precise braking, while higher variants may provide additional precision with a front disc brake. The scooter also offers a rear shock absorber and telescopic front forks, providing a smooth ride over rough and bumpy roads. The scooter is also lightweight, which in combination with the tubeless tyres, increases stability. The Activa 7G is therefore ideal for both urban and semi-urban terrains.
Pricing And Availability
Honda is expected to price the Activa 7G between ₹75,000 and ₹90,000 (ex-showroom) based on the variant. It is expected to be launched between October 2025 and April 2026, which puts it in competition with the TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access 125. Buyers will have seamless access to the scooter due to Honda’s wide network of dealerships and the option to pre-book scooters online, making them available to the public across all of India.
